Dom, Deep Bass Vocals
The Regal Bass Voice of Mad Collective Connection

African Royalty
With his striking gray dreads and colorful robes, Dom wouldn’t look out of place in an ancient Valyrian court. Yet his roots are firmly planted in the heart of Sierra Leone, where history, bloodlines, and music intertwine. His deep bass voice (reminiscent of James Brown) is rich and resonant. Dom has a voice that doesn’t just sing but tells stories—of struggle, of triumph, of a life shaped by belief in Jah.
Dom’s journey of destiny and reggae bridge cultures, generations, and souls.
Every note that Dom sings conveys the weight of history and the strength of faith, his voice as deep as his roots.
Dom’s life is characterized by spirituality, history, and an unwavering belief that reggae has the power to bring people together.
Royal African – Irish blood courses through his veins. His great-grandfather, an Irish-born trader, rose to prominence as a great leader of the people of Sierra Leone. Descended from John Tucker and the princess of the Sherbro region, Dom’s grandfather built the most powerful kingdom in the country. Though Dom has connections with Europe, he is unshakably African, embracing traditions such as the secret mens Poro society and treasuring his cultural identity.
Dom is aware that reggae is a spiritual force that leads us to togetherness and is more than just music. A devoted Rastafari, he lives by the guidance of Jah, believing that reggae has the power to bring people together across borders, cultures, and generations.
Dom has found his soulmate in his beautiful Scottish-born Australian wife, Leslie. His faith in the mystical qualities of love, music, and fate has grown as a result of his cross-cultural connections.
As the bass voice of Mad Collective Connection, Dom brings wisdom, passion, and a lifetime of experience to the band’s sound, embodying the very spirit of roots reggae that is its life force.
